Participate in Quaker Connect!

Quaker Connect is a laboratory for 21st century Quaker ministry

We work in cohorts of ten local Friends meetings and churches across the Americas* to explore new experiments in faithful community life. Each cohort journeys together for two years, seeking to deepen connections, broaden outreach, and more fully live into their unique callings. Technical assistance and spiritual support is provided by FWCC-Americas.

*Unfortunately, Quaker Connect is not available to meetings and churches outside the Americas at this time.

Next Application Cycle Opens June 2025

STEP 1:

Fill out Interest Form

Submit the online application form coming soon to this page. Any member or attender can fill out an interest form of behalf of their local meeting or church.

STEP 2:

Church/Meeting Approves a Minute to Participate

Local meeting minutes approval to participate, names apprentices, and approves a paragraph or two on why the meeting feels called to participate.

STEP 3:

Fill out Apprentice Questionnaire

Upon completion of the previous step, Quaker Connect will send a questionnaire to apprentices to be completed and submitted by September 1st, 2025.

STEP 4:

Application Review

All completed and submitted applications will be reviewed by Quaker Connect leadership. Churches/Meetings are contacted who will make up a cohort of approximately 10 meetings/churches engaging in a process of experimentation and renewal.

STEP 5:

Start of Program & Kickoff Retreat

In person kickoff retreat for the program in March 2026. Dates and location coming soon!
